Queen Bea celebrates thirty years at Beaverbrook Barn, Somerset
Beaverbrook Barn is tucked away in some of Somerset’s finest countryside, it’s a stunning location and was the chosen venue for Beatrice, aka Queen Bea, to celebrate her milestone birthday. Bea was turning thirty and determined to leave her twenties behind with a bang – An all girl crew of family and friends arrived in Cricket Malherbie to party, pamper, relax and celebrate in style!
Bea had visited Somerset a few months earlier and popped into my Ilminster Studio on a whim. It was clear she was planning a good do, but when I arrived for the shoot I was blown away by how Bea and the girls had pulled out all the stops. Balloons, neon lights, and totally AMAZING outfits. Wow, wow, WOW!
The girls were so much fun to work with, supportive, helping each other out and clearly having fun!
It’s impossible to pick a favourite shot, but there was a moment that said it all for me. We were outside taking a series of solo shots with Bea, when all of a sudden Bea clapped her hands in front of her face and exclaimed breathlessly “I am and SO glad I booked a photographer!” We stopped and looked at each other, Bea’s knock out smile and then a hint of that real emotion. This truly was a milestone moment in Bea’s life and she had planned this party down to a tee. The dress, the shoes, the stunning hair, the location and Bea was living her dream.
What better way to start a new decade … Bea’s thirties are going to be a total BLAST! Here’s hoping you book me for your next party Bea! xxx
